  1. Ms. Bertozzi,
I purchased your book from Amos when he visited the Printing and Books Arts @ the Genesee Center for the Arts in Rochester NY. I enjoyed it very much. You probably already know about the binding glitch: pages 101-108 are missing and pages 111-118 are repeated after page 118, very unfortunately in the section about Arturo!

    • Tricia, I am so sorry to hear about this. I found out awhile ago that some of the books were shipped with this defect. I will replace the book of anyone who has this problem. Email me with details and I’ll get back to you. Elena

  2. Elana,

I just completed your book and really enjoyed it. It was a pleasure to read and I look forward to the recipes.

My wife and I are moving to Piemonte next week for a year. I’ll be a Masters Candidate at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, near Bra.

If you make it back to our area, drop us line at Peter.morich@gmail.com

    • Thank you for your kind comments Peter. It sounds like you have an exciting year ahead. I am in Italy June-August. My house is near Novara. If you come through that way, send me an email and I can show you around the area. Elena

  3. Hi Elena o dovrei dire Ciao ?????
Born In Cortina ???? Amazing !!!!!
I’m french but I’ve been living for 12 years in Treviso. (skiing in Cortina … ovviamente !!!!! lol) and now here with the whole family, we just arrived a year ago …
    Love cooking…… and speaking italian.
If you would be interested there’s a group of “international moms”, we usually meet once a week in PW for a drink after diner. I would love to meet you.
Tomorrow I should go to Arthur Ave for my “monthly italian food shopping” and I was wondering what you think about this “little Italy” ???.
I will be very honest, regarding food, I still have some ……. troubles finding what I like and also what I trust !!!!!!!!
So I would really really enjoy having a “professional opinion”.

    Thanks.
    Hope to receive an answer.

    E spero di incontraci presto
    Grazie,
    Cécile
